Florida State University Credit Union Celebrates New Branch Opening in Northeast Tallahassee with a Donation to the March of Dimes

Tallahassee, Florida - Florida State University Credit Union today continued its ongoing expansion in Tallahassee with the opening of a new branch on the second floor of the Shared Service Facilities building located at 3534 Thomasville Road, Suite B.

As part of the opening celebrations Florida State University Credit Union donated $2,840 to the March of Dimes. The employees of the credit union were able to raise $1,300 in a short five-week time span through personal monetary donations, participation in the walk-a-thon, and fund-raising efforts including a bake-sale and merchandise sales. The Board of Directors and Management Team of Florida State University Credit Union graciously agreed to match this amount. In addition, Dan Dhein, President/Owner of Autowise Buying Services, Inc., donated $240 to the worthy cause.

"I am very proud of Florida State University Credit Union's tradition of upholding the credit union philosophy of 'people helping people'," said Kimberly Adcock, Florida State University Credit Union's Human Resource Director. "I am particularly pleased to partner with the March of Dimes, who contributes so much to ensuring a brighter future for babies in our community."

The new northeast branch is a full service operation, providing a complete range of financial services including loans, mortgages, credit card products, and a car finding service through Autowise Buying Services, Inc. The branch also provides, in conjunction with the Shared Service Facility, convenient lobby and drive-thru teller services and a 24-hour ATM.

"We are very excited about having the opportunity to expand our presence in the Tallahassee community and offering members enhanced convenience by opening this new northeast location," says Jane Dickinson, Loan Manager. Ms. Dickinson, who has twenty years of experience in the financial industry, has been employed with Florida State University Credit Union for eight years and will be managing the northeast branch.
