Teach kids to control spending

Youth Accounts

Good money management is an essential life skill. Unfortunately, many Americans lack basic financial knowledge, according to the National Council on Economic Education. That's why it's more important than ever for youth (yes, I'm speaking to you!) to learn early how to save, share, and spend money. FSU Credit Union wants to encourage you --preschool through high school-- to deposit a portion of your allowance or gifts of money into your credit union savings account. You'll have fun making your savings grow and learning about the importance of setting goals. Contact us about our savings options and other ways we can help you learn the value of money.

The links below are for an online magazine written by youth for youth, and deals with money matters and life issues through colorful stories and interactive games.
